“Decoding the Apocalypse” Pt 2, Study of the Book of Revelation

Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m., Fellowship Hall

This series led by Dr. David Peter, continues the study of the book of Revelation begun during last year’s Institute of Theology. Participants will discover the meaning of three more visions in John’s Apocalypse, including those which depict the “fall of Babylon” and the “millennium.” The purpose of the Book of Revelation, the “Apocalypse,” is to unveil the purposes of God in human history. Yet for many people, it remains seemingly veiled, as an obscure, mysterious, and confusing book. The reason many people do not understand the Apocalypse is because it is written in coded language that can only be interpreted by decoding its symbolism. This study will look at the most significant coded symbols of three visions in the book and the keys to their interpretation. This “unveiling” will enable you to see Christ, His Church, and history (past, present, and future) in a new light. All are invited to attend.
