Confirmation is an exciting time as our youth prepare to confess before the congregation their faith in Christ! The journey to being confirmed in the Lutheran Church is both challenging and rewarding. This is the only time in most people’s lives when they study the 6 chief parts of the Luther’s Small Catechism and the basics of the Christian faith. The confirmation class consists of a two year program and meets on Tuesdays during the school year. This class is for those students not attending St. Paul's Day School.
The textbooks for the class are Luther’s Small Catechism and an ESV self-study Bible. Confirmation for the Class of 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m. at St. Paul's. Oral examination will be held on Thursday, April 6, beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by a reception in the school gym. The review worksheet-modified for the examination is available here.
