Confirmation is an important and exciting milestone in a young person's life ... a time to intentionally deepen learning and grow in the faith.
Confirmation is an exciting time as our youth prepare to confess before the congregation their faith in Christ! The journey to being confirmed in the Lutheran Church is both challenging and rewarding. This is the only time in most people's lives when they study the six chief parts of Luther's Small Catechism and the basics of the Christian faith.
At St. Paul's we offer confirmation for both students who attend our day school, and those who attend other schools. During the process, youth will learn more about: Ten Commandments, Lord's Prayer, Apostles' Creed, Sacraments, and more. We welcome you to be an active part of this formative process.

St. Paul's overnight Confirmation retreat is a special time of fellowship and encouragement in the faith, mixed with plenty of fun. Together with our Pastor and Youth Coordinator, Confirmation students will work together on final review of the foundation questions to be covered on Examination Night.
Teens will also enjoy camp activities together such as campfire time, team-building, games, outdoor activities, and devotions.
Each youth at St. Paul's is assigned a specific prayer partner in the final year of Confirmation study. The identities of these prayer partners are hidden until the Confirmation Examination night. That night is highly anticipated as Confirmands meet the special person who has been diligently praying for them throughout their final Confirmation year.
Occasionally, prayer partners may be family members, but most often they are members of the congregation who have a heart to uplift and encourage our Confirmation youth.
Please know that so many congregation members at St. Paul’s are praying for your youth as they grow in the faith! It is a privilege to remember them in prayer.
