Ages | 3 years old* to 4th grade

At Stellar VBS, children will play, explore, create, and learn about God's love and promises! 

This summer's Stellar VBS launches kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Campers go on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.  

VBS at St. Paul's is filled with fun, friendship, music, amazing games, activities, snacks, and creatively-presented Bible lessons!

  • Register with grade your child completes in May 2023
  • *Please note that children must be potty trained

    How to pay online

    1. From the Online Donations landing page, select "VBS Registration" and fill in the amount ($10 per child, $20 family max). In the box next to the amount, type the first and last names of the children you've registered.
    2. Click "Continue"
    3. Complete your name and address
    4. Under Account Type, click Credit/Debit Card, Checking, or Savings and fill in information
    5. Click "Process" to complete payment

    Lightbulb  Please remember that paying online is not the same as registering, so be sure to check your email for a registration confirmation for each child.

    Mail or drop off check

    • Envelope Mail to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, c/o VBS at 12345 Manchester Road, Des Peres, MO 63131. 
    • ChildPlease include child(ren)'s name(s) with your check.
    • Alternate Pencil  You may write one check for all registered children in the family.

Important information for families arriving at Vacation Bible School

  • We have a terrific week planned and look forward to seeing you and your children at VBS!

    Save time on Monday, June 5: No need to stop by the admin desk if you know your class assignment and location. 

    Drop-off and Pick-up Locations

    • All children meet in the school.
    • Children will start and end every day in the same location.
    • All VBS activities take place in St. Paul’s Church and School, both of which are located at the northeast corner of Ballas and Manchester Roads (1300 North Ballas Road, Des Peres, MO 63131)

    Drop-off Between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.

    • Each morning, please bring your child to his/her classroom in St. Paul’s School via the north entrance of the school. This set of doors faces the pond located in Des Peres Park and is next to the playground. 
    • A list will be emailed to registered families containing the class the children are assigned to for the whole week. Please review and then find the corresponding room on the school map sent in the email. 
    • As you arrive, please walk your child to the classroom and sign in your child (requires your initials) between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.  
    • Doors to the school will not be opened until 8:45am.

    Pick-up at 12:00 Noon

    • Please pick up your child(ren) each afternoon from the same location and sign them out (requires your initials).
  • VBS Group Assignments

    • Your child's group name and drop-off/pick-up location are important information to remember when you arrive at VBS!
    • The week prior to VBS, St. Paul's will email a listing of each student's class assignment. Please refer to the email or contact our VBS directors with questions.

    • St. Paul’s Church and School are on the northeast corner of Manchester and Ballas Roads, across from West County Mall.
    • We recommend parking on the north side of the school building, which is closest to the entrance of the school. 
    • There are three driveways into the St. Paul’s campus, however, one entrance (nearest the traffic light) will be barricaded for safety.

Our snack volunteers serve tasty and wholesome snacks to hundreds of children in VBS each day. Can you help us stock our VBS pantry? 

We serve these specific products because they are peanut-free and nut-free, and are not manufactured on lines with allergens:

  • Bag of fresh apples
  • Mini water bottles - 8 oz. 
  • Pepperidge Farm Goldfish - Cheddar, Pretzels, Colors, Whole Grain
  • Rold Gold Pretzels - Thins, Sticks, Tiny Twists
  • Triscuits - Original, Triscuit Minis - Original, Triscuit Thin Crisps - Original
  • Wheat Thins - Original, Ranch, and 100% Whole Grain
  • Post Frosted Shredded Wheat (spoon size)
  • Teddy Grahams - Cinnamon, Honey, Chocolate, Chocolatey Chip
  • Dried Fruits: raisins, banana chips, dried apples, etc.
    *When choosing any dried fruits, please follow the same guidelines of peanut-free and nut-free along with not being manufactured on lines with allergens.

You can make a difference! Enthusiastic volunteers make our VBS successful. If you can help some days, just one day, every day, or in advance, we'd love to hear from you! Childcare is available for on-site volunteers' children under three years old. 


5th- to 12th-graders are invited to be a part of VBS, helping alongside our trained adult volunteer staff, with fun hands-on activities such as songs, crafts, and more!
